Custom Picnic Bench for Loblaws Canada
I was so happy to have been chosen by Loblaws Canada as one of a select number of Canadian Artists to participate in their Picnic Bench project. This project was created to celebrate Canada 150. This ongoing project features artists chosen from cities throughout Canada who were commissioned to live paint half of a picnic bench at local festivals this summer.
I kicked off this project by live painting the half of the picnic bench shown below at the Lasalle Strawberry Festival in June 2017. The bench then traveled to London, Ontario were artist Evgeny Lenivzev added his half of our combined design (see below).
Upon completion of this project, these benches will be auctioned off for charity.
"Windsor-Essex Harvest" painting inspired by the produce Windsor-Essex County is renowned for. Live painted over three afternoons at Lasalle Strawberry Festival.
Acrylic on Wood.
